How to Apply

Follow this detailed step-by-step process on how to apply your press-on nails.

Each set comes with an application kit and instructions found on the back of the nail card.

Prepping is important to ensure that you're getting long-lasting wear per use.

1

Start with clean, dry nails

Before you begin prepping your nails, remove any product from your nails (gel or regular polish). The press-ons should be applied to your natural nails.

It is recommended that you shorten the length of your natural nails as they work best for press-ons. You can use the provided file in the application kit to shorten the length of your free edge.

2

Push cuticles

Using the cuticle stick provided in the application kit, gently push back your cuticles using the angled edge and remove any dead skin off your nail plate.

If you are experienced in using an e-file or cuticle nippers to prep your nails, you can use these tools for a more natural finish. This is not recommended if you're not experienced in using these nail tools.

3

Buff nails

Next, use the smoother side of the buffer block provided in the application kit to lightly buff your natural nails. This removes the surface shine and prepares the nail for the liquid glue/glue tabs to adhere to.

4

Wipe with alcohol pad

Using the provided alcohol pad, wipe down the natural nail to remove all dust. Then, wipe down the underside of the press-on nails for better retention.

5

Apply liquid glue

Note: Liquid glue is for longer wear. If you want 10-12 days of wear, follow steps 1 to 4. If you only want a few days of wear, don't prep your nails.

Before you begin applying the liquid glue, check the fit of your press-ons. They should sit right next to your cuticle line and if they don't, use the provided file to get the perfect fit.

Next, apply a thin layer of liquid glue to the natural nail and avoid getting too close to the cuticle. Then, align the press-on nail with your cuticle line and at a 45 degree angle, slowly push down until the full nail is applied. Press down the nail for 30 seconds and alternate the position so all parts of your nail have pressure applied. Do one nail at a time.

6

Apply glue tabs

Note: Glue tabs are for temporary wear between 2-3 days.

Follow the prep instructions outlined in steps 1 to 4. Next, match the glue tab sizes with your natural nail size and put the glue tab down. After you have applied it to your nail, remove the plastic covering left. Grab your press-on nail and press down firmly for 30 seconds. Alternate the position so all parts of your nail have pressure applied. Do one nail at a time.

Aftercare Instructions

❤︎ Avoid moisture and lotion for at least an hour to allow the glue to set. It is recommended that you apply the press-on nails before bed so nails can set overnight.

❤︎ Nails are not tools. Do not use excessive force or pick at things with your press-ons. Doing so may harm/damage your natural nails and cause your press-ons to pop off earlier.

❤︎ Use gloves while washing dishes to avoid moisture entering your nail bed and causing your press-on nails to come off earlier.

❤︎ Apply lotion and cuticle oil to your cuticle area/hands every day to lock in moisture and ensure best press-on wear.
